PIERCING MINORS

General

All clients under 16 are considered minors and therefore require parental consent as well as their own consent.

As a parent/guardian, please read the following information before booking your child in for a piercing.  By signing as parent/guardian consent, you are agreeing to the following terms.

The Client

The minor to be pierced is considered the client at all times and, therefore, they have the final say when it comes to consent.

Before the Day

Please make sure that your child is aware that:

  • Their piercing(s) will be performed using needles

  • Their piercing(s) is likely to hurt

  • That they will have to take good care of their piercing(s)

On the Day

Remember that you are giving consent for me to perform a procedure on your child, but that the child, my client, must also give consent for me to pierce them.

At any time during the procedure, the client can change their mind and we will not continue.

If the client changes their mind, please do not put unnecessary pressure on them to continue; once they have made their final decision this must be respected.

If the client changes their mind, the piercer will respect this; please do not put unnecessary pressure on the piercer to continue.
